Under eye concealer? help make up experts !?

Hi guys, recently I have been using quite thick

concealer (runway standard) under my eyes to fully cover up dark circles. However it always goes inside my under eyelid which gets very irritating. Is there a way to stop it going inside the eyelid ?Under eye concealer? help make up experts !?
If the concealer is actually thick, then you probably need to find another concealer to use. If you are applying it too thickly, then try cutting down some on the amount to see if that works. If that's not enough to cover your under eye circles, then you aren't using the right shade.

Your concealer should match your skin tone or be one shade darker to effectively cover imperfections like dark circles. I also cover my entire eye area, not just under my eyes (a tip from a make-up artist friend).

I only use botanically-based products as well.

Hope this helps!Under eye concealer? help make up experts !?
use a yellow or green concealer on your under eyes then use your regular foundation
Try not applying it that close to your eyelid and maybe you are using too much. You only need a drop. Concealers also come in sticks and liquid. I prefer the liquid but maybe the other type would work better for you. Also concealers should be one shade lighter than your skin tone. Apply your foundation over it. Then use a face powder over the foundation if you use one.
and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

you don't have to put a lot of concealer to hide your dark circle.. i suggest you find a concealer a little darker than your normal skin color.. this way, it will just lighten the dark circles and you don't have to put a lot of it.. then you cover it up with a loose powder all over the face. never put concealer that is lighter than ur skin color. it will not cover it up. but instead, it will highlight it. making it the most noticeable part of your face.
Try using an illuminating moisturizer first, on the undereye area. Than when that is absorbed in, use a soft, small eyeshadow brush and a creamy concealer. Bobbi Brown makes a good concealer compact with two shades that you can mix. You want it ot be a little lighter than your skin tone. There is no reason to have it so high up that it is getting into your eye. But you should extend it up to the outer corners and the inner corner where you're nose meets your eye. Place it on the area with the brush and then just press with a fingertip, don't rub.

If at that point, I am not happy, I touch the area up, lightly, with a dry concealer pencil. Laura Mercier makes a great one, called Flawless Fix Pencil. It's also great for tiny, hard-to-get-at areas.

When you are done with concealer and foundation, set lighly with a softly illuminating powder. Try Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder #2. (in fact, it's a great brand for all skin tone make-up, so is Dior). I like a big, Kabuki type brush so you don't get too much powder in one place.

Trust me. I hate my undereye circles and have spent a lot of time working out what to do about it. And I have a friend who is a makeup pro, who helped me with it.
