MAC Studio Finish concealer. Its the best concelaer and the only thing that works for dark under eye circles. My mom is 50 and when she uses Studio Finish concealer, it doesn't even look like she has makeup on and it totally covers up her dark under eyes and brightens her eyes.
This may seem a little odd at first, but a good way to cover them is with matte orange lipstick. (Crazy sounding I know.) Here is a youtube video I found the other day that shows you.. it really does work well!

Yellow is great for Purple Under-Eye Circles. This is because it Counteracts the Purple colour and makes it much less noticeable.

I like the Napoleon Perdis Concealer Compact.

It has Yellow [For purple], Blue [for Red] and Three Skin-Coloured ones for other blemishes. This is by FAR the best Concealer i've tried. It's $46 [Australian Currency] which is pretty expensive, but it does the trick! It lasts all day, too.

Ok

What you do is put whatever your shade foundation is and normal starter makeup routiene.

Do not put on eyeshadow or blush on before this.

I use Almay smart shade for under my eyes and then take a very paleish white powder and totally dab it under your eye

so it practically looks white.

Now apply your eyeshadow and make sure it is not too dark.

After applied with no mascara blend the heck out of the powder under your eye so it looks normal and bright.

After that your eyes will look nice and bright and you can apply your blush and mascara.
For drugstore concealer, I use Rimmel's Hide-the-Blemish concealer. It's got a creamy consistency so it covers very well with minimal product. For a higher-end concealer, I use MAC's Studio Fix.
I have the same problem and I use New York Colors cover stick. This really covers well and it's so creamy so it blends well. With this concealer you don't get that yellow fake looking under eye, it just looks natural. You can buy it at any drug store that sells New York Color cosmetics and it only costs $2.

It works so well trust me girl.
The best is going to be one that matches your skin well. I recommend going to a makeup counter like Macy's or Gottschalks where a professional can help you find a good match for your skin tone and texture. I personally use Lancome, but another brand may work better for you. Also, they can give you samples that last about a week so you can take it home and see what you think before you buy it.
there are yellow NYC undereye bag concealers-theyre in pharmacies
i have the same problem i have very dark skina round my eyes...i usually use revlon cover up stick works wonders and you cant even tell my skin is dark
get a peach color corrector for sure. make up forever has a really nice cream one (not liquid) and then put a little highlight (shimmery white) in the tear ducts (inner corner of eye's) and curl lashes and add black mascara. black eyeliner is no good for tired eyes/dark circles!
