My eyes always seem to have a tired look and I, almost everyday, apply concealer under my eyes to reduce the look. Also, I have a popped blood vessel under my right eye which just makes them look even more tired. I've heard, though, that concealer is too heavy for under the eyes and will make them worse. Is it true? If so, what should I do to not look tired and cover up my ';mark';?Is it okay to apply concealer under the eyes?
It's perfectly fine to apply concealer under the eyes, to cover up exactly the imperfections you've listed. For under the eyes, I recommend stick or liquid. Dot them on, then blend in. If you don't like this idea, you could also try a) dabbing Visine under your eyes - it shrinks blood vessels or b) placing a wet Lipton tea bag (or another inexpensive brand) on each eye. I believe the name of the substance it has that reduces puffiness is tannin. Is it okay to apply concealer under the eyes?
Make sure you use a lot of moisturizer under your eyes when you go to bed at night. What happens is when you get older and you use concealer is accentuates the lines under your eyes. Also your concealer should be a few shades lighter than your skin tone. Don't use too much. The best way to learn to do this is to go to a makeup counter and let someone show you. I use this really good eye cream from Lancomb that has helped with the dark circles. I have had them since I was a teenager.
yes u can apply concealer under ur eye.... just dont get it in ur eye... i dont think it will make it look worse
concealer was made for under the eyes. you really only need the tiniest dab of product for it to work. gently tap it where you need it to spread it and blend it. then cover w/loose powder to set it. dont rub it or tug the skin below your eyes or youll just make it worse.
Absolutely concealor is fine under the eyes. Mac has a good variation of them from slight to thicker coverage that you can have them try on you so that you can see which one you like better. Concealor, as other products that are used around the eye, are made specifically for that area. Now here are a few tips for the under eye prob. First if you are using moisturizer DO NOT use it under your eyes. Moisture will cause them to puff up more. As I mentioned earlier there are specific creams made for the eye area that are best. Use that before applying your concealor. After applying concealor take your powder or foundation and blend the concealor in with the rest of your face. It helps out but ultimately drink lots of water and get some rest. That makes them better. Hope it helps.

Cucumbers under the eyes before bed. And a good eye cream. See your eyes don't have pores so what you use on your face is not the same thing for your eyes. If you feel tired and have red in your eyes you might need iron. If you want more tips you an e mail me if you like.
