When applying concealer under your eyes, to hide the dark circles, should you apply a darker or lighter shade.

definately lighter (2 shades or so lighter than ur natural color) and look for one with yellow hues to contrast the blue green colors of the veinsWhen applying concealer under your eyes, to hide the dark circles, should you apply a darker or lighter shade.
Always apply the same color concealer as you would the rest of your face- however- I always try to use a thicker consistency one. ... Another good way to get rid of dark circles is- before you go to bed Apply Preperation H *a little Bit* and the circles will DRAMATICALLY disappear! ................ It's just another little trick! :D

Personally I use the shade lighter, although it can't be too light or else it will look like you have white or ashy circles under your eyes and they will stand out. Make sure to blend very well and to apply a light dusting of powder over to set the concealer.
well my mom is a makeup artist and she does celebrity makeup...we live in LA...she always uses the same color as the rest of the face but put a slightly lighter powder on top of it and then does the rest of the face with a powder that matches the skin tone.
1 to 2 shades lighter, a darker shade will just make that area even darker.

I would use a brightning and concealing concealer. I use Benefits Erase Paste.
Anywhere your skin is darker than the rest of your face you'll want to use a lighter tone so you get a more even look.
a little bit lighter than your skin tone

but dont go too light

because it'll look funny
the same as your skin tone lighter to hide dark
